Celebrating 7 Years
Claudia Rahardjanoto

Born and raised in Berlin, Claudia Rahardjanoto started her professional dance career at the Deutsche Oper Berlin at the age of nine, before falling in love with tap dance at 15 under the tutelage of Sven Göttlicher and Marie-Christin Zeisset. Since moving to New York City in 2003 to continue and pursue her career in tap dance in the U.S., Rahardjanoto has worked with various tap dancers, choreographers and musicians, has been featured on the cover of Dance Teacher magazine and was included in Dance Magazine’s annual “25 to Watch” list.
Currently, she tours both nationally and internationally with the Dorrance Dance, dances with Max Pollak’s Rumbatap, collaborates with jazz pianist Michael Jellick, and is honored to have worked with Allison Miller on Rivers in Our Veins since its creation in 2019. Rahardjanoto has been on faculty at the 92NY Harkness Dance Center since 2013 and hopes to continue to share her love and passion for the art of tap dance and music through her performing and teaching globally.
